Peanut Butter Balls - healthy diy homemade dog treats

RECIPE

Ingredients:
  • peanut butter from a discount grocery store (Make sure it is free of xylitol. Xylitol is toxic to dogs!)

  • oatmeal

Instructions:
  1. Melt peanut butter for about 45 seconds in a microwave safe bowl.

  2. While peanut butter is liquified, stir in oats to desired consistency.

  3. The consistency should be similar to a no bake cookie, except with extra oats.

  4. Form balls and drop onto plate with a cookie dough scoop.

  5. Freeze for 20 minutes or until peanut butter sets up.

You can store these homemade dog treats in the freezer after making a big batch and just thaw a few at a time. But your dog will probably love them so much they will go through them quickly! My picky eater kissed my face when she tried this recipe.

SUPER SUPER EASY!!! homemade dog treats

FAQ:

Question: Can dogs eat peanut butter?
Answer: YES! But it has to be xylitol free because xylitol is toxic to dogs. Check the ingredients label before feeding peanut butter to your dogs.
